Allison LaBrash, LISW-CP

My name is Allison LaBrash, and I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW-CP) and Alcohol and Drug Counselor (ADC).  I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Clemson University and a Master of Social Work degree from the University of South Carolina.

One thing is certain - life is hard sometimes. We may respond with overthinking, self-isolating, catastrophizing, avoidance, self-harm, substance use, or a myriad of other ways that ultimately make us feel dissatisfied with life. When we have a clear sense of our values and what is important to us, we are better able to push through life’s difficulties. My goal is to support children, adolescents, and adults in building flexible strength and resilience to deal with those tough times and engage in meaningful life experiences. My therapeutic style is person-centered, often playful, and always non-judgmental and accepting. My areas of focus are anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral issues, difficult life transitions, and substance use.
